Born October 6th, 1893 in Frostragh, Killoe, Co Longford, Ireland.

Youngest of 12 in a Roman Catholic family

Many members of her family were living in the U.S. and despite promising their mom that they would wait to leave, Kate and her sister bought a ticket on the Titanic for £15 ($325.37 today)

While aboard, Kate and Maggie shared a room on E-deck with two other girls from Longford, Kate Gilnagh and Kate Mullin.

They were also acquainted with other people from Longford including James Farrell (the basis for Jim Farrell played by Grant Pace).

All 3 Kates survived (possibly in Lifeboat 16) and lore has it that James Farrell threatened to punch a crewman if he did not let the women pass to the boats.

Kate would go on to be married, live in Brooklyn, and have 3 children.

Kate lived 6 years after her husband passed, dying in 1968 at age 74

Madame Léontine Pauline Aubert, known as “Ninette”

Born on May 20th, 1887 in Paris

Aubert was a singer and boarded the Titanic in Cherbourg, France with her maid Emma Sägesser.

She occupied Cabin B-35 with a £69 ticket. (£10,000, $10,300 today)

She was almost certainly the mistress of Benjamin Guggenheim (who occupied room B-82) (Played by Matthew Diston)

She and her maid were rescued (probably in lifeboat 9)

She died on October 29th, 1964 (age 77).
